Give Me Your Hand

A short review today… I finished this book pretty quickly, but as I think back on it I really question what happened. This was more of a story about the loyalty of ‘childhood’ friends and how that translates to adulthood.

This was pretty good. It was definitely weird reading about research chemists in academia as a research scientist. It was a suspenseful story but not all of it made sense to me. The entire mystery in the present day seemed like it could be avoided if someone had just spoken up. In fact, you are pretty well aware of what happens throughout the story so there isn’t even too much mystery.

What happened in the past was more intriguing and it was truly a mystery as to how past actions would cause issues in the present. Overall, it was a thrilling page-turning, but I don’t know if that’s because it’s a great mystery or because I connected to the world of chemistry and academia…
